ARTEx 26 aims to evaluate emerging technological solutions in realistic scenarios, supporting the progress of the defense industry and economy, while speeding up the adoption of innovations for military use.
Why we're there
ARTEx 26 tests emerging technological solutions in realistic scenarios to support the defense industry and accelerate the adoption of innovations in military applications.
Integrated with OPEX 2026, it will enable multinational collaboration across the Portuguese Army, national and international industry, startups, academic institutions, and research centers.
ARTEx 26 rests on four key pillars:
Technological experimentation, allowing new systems to be tested in realistic land and air environments;
Collaboration, opening the door for startups, SMEs, and large companies to engage directly with military personnel and end users;
Innovation, integrating the scientific and technological community into the development of next-generation solutions;
Economic impact, fostering deeper cooperation between the business sector and the armed forces.
It's a unique opportunity to move technology from concept to mission-ready capability, while building lasting partnerships across industry, academia, and defense.
What we're showing
We’ll be putting our full range of systems to the test in live, hands-on exercises designed to reflect real operational conditions. Everyone will have the opportunity to see our systems in action and ask questions directly to our engineers and operators.
Practical information
Come talk with our team to discuss the future of defense and how our systems can be adapted, scaled, and integrated to meet your needs.
